Think you have what it takes to be crowned
Blocktoberfest Grillmeister? Then join us for a friendly backyard BBQ competition. We will be cooking chicken (Cook's choice of cut...can also be Cornish Game Hen) out on the street using whatever cooker you have. A Cabela's gift card and bragging rights are on the line for the winner! Entry fee will be $20 and signup is by October 9th. Minimum of 5 teams to compete.
- 12:00 PM Team sign in.
- 12:30 PM Cook's meeting, review the rules, meat inspection.
- 1:00 PM Cooking may begin.
- 4:00 PM Chicken Turn In and Judging begins.
- 4:45 PM Award presentation.
Meat must be packaged in original packaging and cannot be marinated, injected, brined or seasoned in any way until after meat inspection.
